Basic Knowledge about Linear Actuators

2023-12-15

Linear actuators, also known as electric actuators, are devices used to convert rotational motion into linear motion. They are an important component in a variety of industrial and commercial applications, including medical devices, automation, agriculture, and construction equipment. In this article, we will discuss the basics of linear actuators.

1.FD, DL, DG series linear actuator can be used for reciprocating straight line or reciprocating rotation of a certain Angle of motion, suitable for rising, falling or clamping work places, but also for long distance and high altitude dangerous areas, it is widely used in metallurgy, mining, coal, electric power, machinery, cement, chemical, water conservancy, transportation and other departments.

2. Mechanism performance Stroke control mechanism: The use of a counter, so that the linear actuator can be stopped at any position within the maximum stroke range. Overload protection mechanism: When the push and pull load exceeds the rated load, the overload protection mechanism will automatically cut off the power supply, thus protecting the motor and the working system.

3. Preparation for power trial operation

(1) Whether the electrical line, power supply voltage, etc., meets the specified requirements, and whether the setting is correct.

(2) Whether the fasteners are firm and reliable, and whether the stroke control mechanism can work normally.

4. Power requirements: Power requirements for normal motor wiring: 5HZ, 380V. Non-standard motor, according to motor voltage requirements.

5. Maintenance

(1) Regularly lubricate the worm gear and worm box, and use appropriate grease.

(2) In the assembly process, the lead screw and nut should be lubricated so that the transmission parts can work normally.
